My library consists of over 2000 stinking, foul, polluted directories containing not only pristine FLAC files, but cue sheets, ripping logs and assorted album art scans. It really is a cesspool. Do your flac files contain tags such as the artist and album name? Embedded artwork is just another

I'm afraid the only options available are the ones you mentioned: rename the cover art files to %artist-%album and dumping them in one huge folder, or rename the cver art files to folder.jpg and dump them in each folder. -- BastiaanR It's not a problem, it's a challenge.
