Picking up on this again. LMS and Squeezelite-X are working to play
music from the Windows Storage Server. I installed the Air Play plug-in
as suggested and it "sees" the Yamaha RX-A3080 as well as the two
multicast speakers, but the Yamaha devices receive no music or other
indication that
In the words of an old time song... "I'm beginning to see the light."
(Ella Fitzgerald and Duke Ellington.) I'll work on this and see what my
next hurdle turns out to be.

Some additional info:
LMS and the music files do not have to be on the same box (although they
can be). The music files simply have to be accessible somewhere within
your network. Also, LMS only scans the folders that you tell it to scan
(see below).

same PC that you install LMS on and will play through your PC speakers.

I agree the jargon can be a problem if you have not been following the
forum and using the products. Since your new to Logitech media server
(LMS) and squeezebox system, a high level overview might be helpful.
