No, but if you care to and have an ipod made before the Classic you
can probably run Rockbox. (www.rockbox.org) Plays flac, ogg, and all
that and can be synced using your choice of Linux programs. Works
great for me - one flac library, no messing about with

i don't have an ipod, the wife has a zen tho.
but what can itunes do with an ipod that say winamp can't? my
understanding is that other apps can upload to ipods. does itunes have
a feature other apps don't dupe?

about three places it kept the xml file with the links to the artwork
(.itc files).
The artwork can be extracted using this,
