I'm a convert from the soundbridges, I own a Soundbridge M1001, and it's still working like a charm. I've tried SqueezeCenter with it and the emulation mode works fine. I've even tried to sync it with SoftSqueeze and that worked. So I got a SqueezeBox Boom. Now, the bugger is that I cannot sync

I have a Soundbridge Radio, 2 SB3s, and a Boom. At one time, Roku claimed to support SlimServer 5.x, but it's never worked well, and they haven't updated their firmware in years. I haven't even bothered to try it with SqueezeCenter. Sometime soon, the Roku will get replaced by another Boom. --

OT, but: the red lines are the heating filaments of the vacuum fluorescent display. they are always on and can only be switched off by unplugging the SBC. -- dcote dcote's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?

IIRC The Roku internal buffer size/handling is different to an SB1 so when SC does sync calculations they don't quite match and so audio will not sync. It may be possible to sync two Roku but a mixed group is unlikely. A few years ago there was a long thread where a user investigate this issue -

The Roku emulates an SB1, so theoretically it should be able to synch using the latest SC. However synching SliMP3/SB1 is harder than newer players, so results might be variable. What version of SC are you using? -- Mark Lanctot Current: SB2, Transporter, Boom (PQP3 - late beta), SBC (early
