access your SN favorites. I don't use WinAmp, so I'm not sure about the
feasibility of what you're trying to do. I don't think there's a version
of WinAmp for phones or PDAs, but it seems there are clones, like
WinAmpAQ.

SS 2.8 does not work reliably for me with transcoded FLACS over 2Mbps

There were Mac related border changes made which also affected
Windows.

I'm having the EXACT same problem. Downloaded the latest server edition,
and SoftSqueeze doesn't work anymore. The server software download
apparently included an update of SoftSqueeze from 2.2 to 2.7 -- you
probably noticed the new shortcut on your desktop -- but it's
apparently inert. Hopefully

Very minor but Softsqueeze 2.7 with excession-thin on Windows XP with
Sun Java Version 1.5.0 (build 1.5.0_06-b05) has the LCD screen a few
pixels too low and to the right. Softsqueeze 2.3 doesn't suffer from
this.

I just tried version 2.6 and although it does not scroll as smoothly as
version 2.3 at least it is now usable and doesn't give me double clicks.
The inability to play music was a server issue (bug 3582 which is now
resolved).

releases of the slimserver and also on sourceforge (although the
sourceforge site seems a little sick at the moment).
This should improve the UI performance on OS X so Softsqueeze will be
usable again.

You're saying Windows itself is crashing? That's very unlikely to be
anything to do with the Slim software.
