Hi,
Recently I have found that Rhapsody channels are working much better,
not sure if was 7.3 upgrade or Rhapsody fixing stuff but either way it
seems a lot better than it was. However it still fails sometimes and
here is what I have noticed...
Rhapsody channels occasionally play tracks that
It's not a mistake, there are different rights for 'radio' play vs.
'on-demand' play.

Ok, thanks for the quick response and clarification. I still notice
that some channels work better than others and there are some tracks
that when I see them pop up I expect a hang up within a couple more.
The few tracks that I am aware of are in that not visible class, but
maybe it is not

Andy, I've tried contacting Real regarding this error, and they're
asking me if any additional information can be provided.
Is there any way I can
You could tell them that a getEA method call failed with the error
message AccountManagement.

My problems with Rhapsody on the Squeezebox have largely gone away since
the last week of December. I've been able to play playlists without any
interruptions since then. I should check it out on my Tivo as well,
since I know it uses Rhapsody Direct as well and I was having the same
problem
I think I was confused Andy, I got the skip limit while using the
Rhapsody client not squeezebox.
Anyhow, I can get rhapsody to play a few songs, but it's only 1 song
more reliable than it was before. I get through 4 songs and then it
either forgets to sync one of the players, or it stops
My Boom showed an AccountManagement error...
What's that indicating?

Not for me. Yesterday I still had all kinds of issues: Songs not
starting, songs muting after 1 second, playback stopping between songs,
and songs starting on one synced player but not the other.

Exact same here today (3-Jan). Playing fine some
I have had Rhapsody on and off for the past two years and it has always
been plagued with intermittent playing issues. If the service worked
reliably, I would sing its praises but as it is, I don't find it worth

It works reliably now.
But I guess if someone is not interested in on demand: any artist, any
song, and any album, and unlimited fast forward to next song, (features
which are not offered by any other service) then it's not for you.

Same for me. I was having no end of issues, but for the last few days
it seems to be working. No unexpected halts of any kind.

I love rhapsody for these
it's been rock solid for me since their latest upgrade. prior to that,
I had to hit play or skip a handful of times throughout the day if
listening to a channel. Before their upgrade, the worst times were on
weekends for me when I suspect their user load spikes. Christmas Day,

New feature? (I skipped about 10 in about 2 minutes.)
There's no skip limit for channels, are you sure it wasn't something
else?

I've had my share of problems with Rhapsody also, but the last time I
listened a day or two ago it was working fine. There was only one
track on one album that wouldn't play and I got an error message
(invalid combination of ..).
One other thing that bothers me is when artists are removed with
Invalid combination means a track is not available in MP3. They need
to do a better job of detecting that and fixing those tracks.

Thanks, but I changed them all to proxied a few weeks ago, and it
hasn't helped. I just rechecked the settings, and
I'm guessing you guys have more troubles than I do because my troubles
