Hi,
No idea, whats happening there, but I am running 7.5.1 with Win xp, and
no issues with the squeezecast here, it does what it should, in a very
simple way eg it does not support iPhone 4, if you change the App. the
sound stops - but i can live with that, and I am still waiting for

Well, I gave up and just reinstalled version 7.5 and everything works
fine again. Sometimes when "it ain't broke" it just isn't worth
upgrading to the "latest and greatest" version. I'm just happy all is
well in Squuezeland again.

I just bought SqueezePod and I can't connect to it. I've located my
Squeezebox Server IP Address and made sure (I think) that my Firewall
is not getting in the way.
Do I have to enter my mysqueezebox.xom Username and Password?
One problem may be that my Squeezebox Server Control Panel is reads..
Because SqueezePod does what it does by ignoring some legal issues I'm
not willing to ignore.
iPeng playback will come, but not through this route.
Technically, SqueezePod looks like a nice solution.

I've bought both of these apps. Seems this -should- be an opportunity
for ipeng and squeezebod to partner up, no? These products right now
are both completely complimentary. iPeng is the ultimate Squeezebox
controller, I enjoy it far better than the actual $300 Controller.

Any response from them? I see this as well sometimes.
Also, it seems to play fine until the screen shuts itself off. As soon
as the power saving kicks in, audio play back ends. Power the iphone
back up, it starts playing again. Can't seem to get it to play while
iphone is in power saving mode

Hi Pippin and Garym,

product and Garym for pointing it out to me who knows nothing of such
things - sincerely, much appreciated, both
Pippin: using the volume control toggle control (top left of iPod

again, life will be much easier if you get the iPENG application for
your iTouch from the ITUNES application store. The best money you'll
spend for using your squeeze products!
edit: think about it, the author of iPENG is answering your questions
about a product that competes with him. How's that

iPeng skin installed as a 3rd party app in squeezeboxserver.

Hi Pippin -
When iPeng supports this, will it do gapless playback of LAME mp3
files? Will it support FLAC without the need to transcode?
Thanks!

I find I just listen to music on the iPod while I'm doing something else
without the need to sync everything I have onto the iPod, too much
duplication/faff and no way am I letting iTunes anywhere near SBC.
Still use iPeng app when listening out loud as it were.
Streaming on iPeng sounds good. I
Why not just point Safari to your.server.com:9000/stream.mp3 and use
iPeng to control it? This has the advantage of being able to listen to

Just installed this app on my iPod Touch.
Streams music from SBS to your iPod over wifi.
Pretty basic atm. Can't do much with it other than listen to streeaming
music (now there's a surprise) but works better than the SBC IMHO.
Pretty good for £3.49.
Anyone else using this yet?
