Is there a Transporter forum? I see that there are sepearate forums for

I see forums for the Touch, Boom, etc. but not one for the best player
of all, the Transporter. Am I missing something?

Because I'm considering purchasing a Transporter, I'd like to read what
owners are writing about it, but I don't see a forum dedicated to the
Transporter.

I noticed that the new SqueezeBox Boom now has it's very own Slim
Devices forum section and I was wondering why none of the other
devices, like the SqueezeBox Classic, The Duet or the Transporter, have
their forum sections. I think this would be very useful, especially for
the Transporter since th
no. none for SB Classic, SB3, SB2, SB1 either. Didn't really start until
the BOOM. Many folks use the audiophile forum for transporter.

Well, no. lots of people have them, use them, still enjoy them. I'm not
sure that Logitech is selling them any more if that is what you mean.
You can still see some new in box on ebay and a few resellers.

It's filed under beta forums, and I'm sure 99% of Duet users don't know
what SqueezeOS is. We certainly don't see many of the dozens of daily

I really don't like segregation.
If I was going to do a lot of arbitrary splits, I would separate out

As for splitting the forums. The Boom forum is working well and the
main forum is becoming a bit swamped. I don't like splitting foru

Actually I can see some benefit in the split. I agree that the General
board is getting too bloated, to a point when people are having their
posts pushed off the first page without any response.

I think that's great if people want to talk quite specifically about
that product. However, it does run the risk of questions/ideas
I suggested a change to the forum layout a while back and the thread got
completely ignored. But hey ho, i will have a go again...
I think a change is needed but splitting by product will just get
confusing. Most users wont have a clue if the issuse they are
experiencing is with the controller,

Too many forums already. There will be Boom posts in Discuss, there are
Transporter posts in Audiophile. Discussions about 7.2 are in Discuss, Beta,
Boom...
