The problem is on my end...iPeng is working fine.

When I keep my finger pressed over a title in the music folder, I then
get the prompt that gives me the option to play the album now in it's
entirety, play next, or add to the end of the playlist. When I click
the "play" choice, nothing happens...whereas before the album started
playing immediate

That's not a play button.

Seems that is most prevalent when trying to switch albums, or change
tracks using the "> play" button...the iphone registers that the button
is being pressed, but the player doesn't respond...sometimes hitting the
key repeatedly will eventually change the album, and sometimes not.

time...sometimes I have to tap the "play" button three or four times to
get the song to play.

Hm, what do you mean with "out of synch with server"? Could you explain
exactly what happens, I don't really understand the problem from your
description.
Could you send me a diagnostics mail from within iPeng? Just tap the
mail link under "Help".
If you have to keep flushing the cache it sounds
Seemed solid over the last few weeks, now it becomes unresponsive, and I
have to flush the cache to regain functionality. Has happened at least
10 times over the last 24 hours.
I'll admit that I'm a complete newbie when it comes to iPeng & iPhones
in general.
