On my Nexus 5 there's a scroll bar in both Artists and Albums on the
right side of the list for "hyper-scrolling". As you drag it up/down it
shows the Letter of where you are in the list ie: "P" when in the "P"'s
where "Peter Paul and Mary" live.
2 Duets - 1 for upstairs and 1 for downstairs

I assume there is a way of navigating within the artist or album lists,
beyond just scrolling interminably, but I can't find it. In the Logitech
app there is an alpha list to the right of the screen, and you tap on a

That's pretty annoying.
I'd also appreciate if the playback controls would be visible
"everywhere" (e.g. also in playlist view)

Yes, you're right, just tap the Orange Heart. I was always puzzled by
the three tiny horizontal lines just to the left of the OH, I thought

A BIG THANK YOU from my side for the new preview version.
It doesn't crash at the start, newly added albums are visible right
after pressing the "New Music" symbol (in earlier version I always
needed to "refresh" it) and the current playlist is back again ;-)

I have a problem with the latest beta: once I start the app on my Nexus
7 (2013, Android 4.2.2) it crashes.
After deinstalling /installing the app the problem remains.

The Now Playing appears as a small panel on the bottom of the screen
(when you are playing something). You can swipe upwards (or just press
it) to make it full screen. I don't think there is a playlist view in
this early preview version (the release notes mention that it isn't
implemented yet).

I've been playing with the latest beta myself. Apart from the expected
instability/bugs with such a preview, I can't say that I'm sold on the
UI updates at this point - for example, Now Playing no longer shows the
Album tag or track number and total tracks in playlist (# of #), the
text is smaller
Just wanted to give some positive for the latest OS preview: I love the
UI updates! New 'Now Playing' display and the three-dot context menus
are very useful.
I started to like the UI of Google Play Music very much, because it is
very simple and intuitive.
But the Orange Squeeze UI ist getting
+1 on the presets.
This is different to favourites, I should note before people chime in
with that suggestion

Actually, I decided to give LMS 7.8 a go and it broke Squeeze Commander.
Lovin' OrangeSqueeze so far. Intuitive, gives more feedback than
Squeeze Commander and multi-player support works great.

Orange Squeeze is getting better and better.
I really like latest Home-Menu customization including start-page option
feature.
iPeng made me stick to iOS for a long time. With todays Orange Squeeze
I'll stick with Android.
Though there are still some little things I'd like to see improved.

Well to my mind that narrows it down to an issue on the nexus. Just a
thought but have you tried clearing the apps data and/or uninstalling
the app on the Nexus. Maybe also try the preview version if you haven't

As I say I honestly don't believe the 4 option menu is generated by
Orange Squeeze itself it's the defeat destructive play option in LMS
