Why don't you call Slim support?
I will contact support.
I just thought it could help others with the same problems if a
solution was announced in this forum. And apparently others are having
the same experience with their Transporters.
If I get the problem solved I

Thanks, all.
@ Skunk: A soft start circuit wouldnt really do anything about the
noise when powering off.
@ freelunch: Totally agree. IMO it must be simple to do something about
this just by adjusting the software. Maybe I dont understand what is
implicated, though.
It seems a bit old

Thanks for your suggestion - unfortunately it didnt help.
Any other ideas? This is a quite critical issue since there is a risk
of destroying expensive equipment. Could it be done in a FW upgrade?

I wonder if pressing pause before turning off might help? Power on
Resume (above turn off audio in player settings) has a pause at power

My Transporter is hooked up directly to a 300w Bryston power amp (always
on). My hifi is usually set very loud and although I get a noise as I
turn the Transporter on and off it's by no means loud and causes me no
real concern (I'd prefer it if it was quiet though).
I wonder why the difference?

If I unplug power to my sb3 while directly connected to my DNA125, I
will get a very heavy
Turning the Transporter on and off causes some noise (booms) on the
analogue outputs. Not fun, when you are hooked up directly to active
speakers with 1.000 Watts of Icepower and the volume on the Transporter
is turned well up ;-)
Anyone know of a solution to this?
