Twice my laptop has shut-down unexpectedly with an unsaved OO.o 2.0 doc open in
the background. Both times the program recovered the document and I was

you need you have administrator rights and you need to switch off your
virus scanner during installation. We have made the experience that some
scanners cannot handle the case when the microsoft installer installs
.NET assemblies in the global assembly cache.

reports in the past two days and in all cases it worked fine.
Only suggestion may be to 'repair' your installation to see if that works.

It looks like a permission problem which OS are you using_ Probably you just
need to reassing the permissions. The quick fix is to re-install however
usually windows is weird like that and will break things up.
