Thank you, I finally got it working under Linux by adding a couple of
extra steps in the image properties:
* Uncheck keep ratio.
* Reset to original size

I have the same results as Drew. I am using LO 6.2.4.2 from our LO
website. O/S: Ubuntu 18.04. I too opened a new Writer window, added a
frame, and inserted a screenshot into it.

I have just run into an issue I don't recall having encountered
