Just clearing out my 'Home' folder on laptop and copying it to a

My brother's laptop (Dell Inspiron) fails to boot and gives 7 bleeps,
can anyone explain what these bleeps mean please. I know they are a
code indicating a fault, but what?
He is confused as 'Googling' it produces different answers, one of which
is a CPU fault. Any help would be appreciated
'face to face' at the meeting as it's so long
winded trying to explain what's wrong in words.
Hope I do get to the pub tomorrow.
