People seem to just put them where they want to! :-)
The almost official order is bulb - white diffuser - blue filter -
dials. The 7 Line
On the T-4XB/R-4B and the TR-4C it was blue filter, difuser then the main dial. As for the
meter, the filter was put between the connectors at the back of the meter.

The list lost a LOT of subscribers today because I got tied of the bounce
messages.
Seems a lot of the bounces come from earthlink and AOL
1st problem is that it is very difficult to
hear clearly a SSB signal, if I have the sw in the lower position
the signal
seems to have too much bass audio and if I have the switch in the upper
position
the signal
has too much treble audio. I have adjusted C130 which helpsa tiny
bitbut
I recently had an issue with my TR7: the 10R and 10T lines appear to both be high ~ 8.5 to 9.5 volts at the same time. I replaced the 2N4402 transistors with 2N2907 (the parts guy said they were equivalent) and get the same results. What do I look for now?

Usually these fail open as a result of the R or T lines being shorted
to ground, even momentarily... Any event that led to the problem?
