Have a tr-7, that one of the of the 4 section display has failed, lost the
bottom vertical parts. I have to pull the digital board to install the aux-7
board that I made up WARC modules for. I have located a good 4 section readout.
How hard is it to replace the 4 section readout? I can't find

solder pads with holes. These connect to the DR-7 board with a right angle
solder pin header. You will need a good iron and lots of solder wick. I have
change a lot of these and usually you will need to lightly, car

A few things...
First Take digital photographs of the affected areas. You probably
won't need them, but if you do you'll be glad you have them!
The DR-7 is not particularly difficult to take OUT. There are a LOT of
pins, and when they haven't been removed for a while (30 years?

I also emailed him and told him the same thing. I have 2 TR7s serial
nos 9390 and 10476. I also have 2 TR7As serial nos 11299 and 11558.
So the change over occurred between 10476 and 11299.
As with everybody else I got no response.

I have my TR4C/w up and running on all bands, thanks to Tim Bolbach. I have no
problem tuning for CW but not familiar with the best way to tune for SSB phone.
I have been tuning for CW and then switching over to SSB without any further
adjustments and was wondering if further tweaking was nec

for SSB on the tr4c since I am not that familiar with Drake equipment. Sorry
for my screw up.
