I need to apologize as pointed out by another member to Garey. As it turns out, my message never got sent to the Drake Yahoo group moderator, Garey. I sent a copy of the message to Garey. I also found out my Yahoo e-mail started to bounce at the same time. I have no idea why it was bouncing.

Steve - IF the cable and connections between the transmitter and wattmeter are ok, then we have to look elsewhere. Since it now seems to work on 40M, there are other questions. Are you using an antenna, or a dummy load? When you say it is working on '40M' does the RF TUNE peak in the 'right'

Steve, The 40 meter thing sounds a bit like you are tuning up on a spur combination.  Had a very similar thing on a T4XB.  Seems to me that I found the xtal osc was not working correctly.  But I will stress to look for the most simple things first.  Your 100 watts out, use a receiver to make sur
