I've never tried this, but couldn't you just clip the leads off of a cap or resistor from your junk box and solder them on to the end caps of a regular 8a fuse. You would certainly reflow the inside connection but as long as you still have continuity when your done, no harm no foul. I wouldn't

Gary, You could try to use an in-line fuse holder. You will have to dress the wiring a little differently. These should be available, even at Rat Shack. Kurt From: k...@msn.com To: drakelist@zerobeat.net Date: Thu, 13 Oct 2011 10:24:00 -0700 Subject: [Drakelist] Drale Fuse Greetings

Gary - The other alternative is to mount one of the little single fuse blocks that mounts with a single hole. Then takes regular fuses. But unless you have a short on the filament line you should never blow another one. 73, Garey - K4OAH St Charles, IL Drake 2-B, 2-C/2-NT, 4-A, 4-B,

I had that fuse go up in my TR3 back in the 80s. I never found a cause. I replaced it, and it ran fine until I sold it several years back. --- On Thu, 10/13/11, Garey Barrell k4...@mindspring.com wrote: From: Garey Barrell k4...@mindspring.com Subject: Re: [Drakelist] Drale Fuse To: GARY
