The Drake C Line will not need a T/R switch.? The relay is contained in the
T4XC
Pardon my ignorance, but can someone describe what a TR switch is? I am new to
Drake products and have recently inherited from a deceased relative a C-line.
Beautiful product, (up to now I have only used Kenwood transceivers) but I am
not sure how the transmit and receive functions take
to the world of Drake gear. You

The T4X-C transmitter has a T/R relay built in. If you get all the jumper
cables with it, it is an easy hookup. Aftermarket cables are available or easy
to
home brew.
A T/R switch is an electronic device which provides the same function as a
