I installed the latest CVS DRM source a few days ago. (the kernel
modules), and it is still broken! =(
Maybe if someone could point me in the general vicinity of the culprit,
I could take a whack at it myself...

Well a 64-bit kernel and 64-bit X and 64-bit glxgears linked against
64-bit libGL with a 64-bit radeon_dri.so

The copy in libdrm is canonical. The versions in xc and in Mesa are clones.
They all go away in about five hours when I switch the DRI build to requiring
