I have a laptop with Intel 82852/855GM graphic chip. I have recently
upgraded to Dapper (Ubuntu development branch) which has xorg 7.0. As a
result, dri stopped working for me. Instead I have this message:

The ID removed by Dave's patch is the only ID listed for an RV370
chips
(the other RV370's aren't listed in the radeon DRM driver).
I suspect Dave and Mauro having unrelated problems.

I have a radeon mobility U1, with the latest and greatest from Mesa and
drm CVS. Blender launches fine, but as soon as I right click on a light
souce to move it around, the display gets very screwed up, making the
application unusable.
