is the latest one. My Xorg.0.log seems fine, dri/drm/glx are loaded flawlessly. Let me have one more question. Is it normal that glxinfo displays different SGI glx versions? The server is SGI v1.2, but the client is SGI v1.4. thanks, Brazso -- This message was sent on behalf of [EMAIL PROTECTED

/trident/trident_context.c I had to alter some constants (namely ddx_expected and dri_excepted) to let them used by Mesa. Running glxinfo shows direct rendering usage (see http://w3.externet.hu/~brazso/cases/Mesa%20(R300)%20Segfault/glxinfo.txt). But starting glxgears causes segmentation fault

I'm trying to run opengl applications on my old laptop with Trident BladeXP videocard. After a lot of work I could run glxinfo with showing enabled direct rendering but running glxgears still fails. GDB hangs on a similar error like described in the start post here: 0xb7b9fe78 in attrib_1_4
