Hi Anja
I don't know a lot about XLST ...
I think the path to the data should be something like
"/dri:document/dri:meta/dri:pageMeta/dri:trail"
But I am sure there are other people on this list who can help you further.

Hi Anja
If you go to your item page and add '?XML'

Out of the box DSpace comes with solr localhost access only. Just to
make sure nobody can just delete/modify your index via http requests.
Change solr configurations to user http://localhost:8080/solr.

Usually the email settings now come from the build.properties files.
Since you have changed them in the dspace.cfg file, can you check that
you worked in the correct file i.e. DSpace4/dspace/config/dspace.cfg and
not where your web-apps are installed.

oss.sonatype.org changed from the http to https protocol. What you are
getting back at the moment is an html page which tells you that the web

Change the location of that repository in the main pom.xml to (note:

Hi Monika,
Could you check the solr.xml to see whether there is a core for
statistics ().
If yes, check the log files for error messages. There could be some
permissions problems (i.e. Tomcat needs write access).

Your option -o is to optimize the search core. Try running without an

Hi Alexander,
I don't see that you got anything double in the log you posted. The
lines come from different classes (e.g. HandleServlet,
LoggerUsageEventListener), they just happen to print the same stuff.
Nothing wrong as far as I can see.

Currently no. It is not implemented in that way. Saying that, it would

Either java is not installed on this computer, or its executable is not

Hello All,

There is not much information to go on with...
Check the file permissions for the assetstore and all its sub
directories. Tomcat needs to be able write there.
Otherwise look in your dspace log file for error messages; they probably
say a bit more what dspace was trying to do.

I could only think of two things at the moment which would cause this
kind of behaviour.
1. you got a ConfigurationManager.java in your
dspace/modules/additions/src/main/java/org/dspace/core/ directory.
2. you don't deploy to where Tomcat is reading from. Check your
properties file. (Are you bui

Yes, but it should only be the 'dspace.dir' setting which will need
updating.

You can update the database by running the sql scripts provided with the
new version of DSpace - just run them in order.

Two points:
- check the database settings in dspace.cfg - they might not reflect if
the database moved as well
- check the firewall of the machine the database is running and also the
permissions in the database config of who is allowed to connect

ES fell over with memory problems -- Footprint of 6GB in memory with a

That far to the 'tell me more'
