Just pulling out the power sources like ac, LiIon and the pram battery out
for 10 minutes will drain power, as far as I know.
I'm trying to purge some bad power manager corruption, and now it's weirder.
My clock goes back to 1904 if I don't keep the PB plugged in. I think

Ilene, there are a number of guides for taking apart your 2400 on
mac2400. Though I don't remember anything specific about draining
power. Mostly it's various folks' directions on taking it apart.

A power manager problem can cause screen flickering, among other things. I
had a flickering problem from a 2400 ac adapter that seems to have created a
power manager problem. I replaced the line with a 45w line and the
flickering stopped, but now there's a power manager problem that compels me

Peter, I think since you have tried other AC adapters and still get the
flicker that it is something else. Maybe Sydney's suggestion.
However, my 2400c screen has flickered a lot whenever the battery has
gotten fairly weak (not to be confused with discharged) and it has
flickered even with the
I would check out the power socket on the 2400 for a loose solder joint,
since all of the adapters did the same thing.

I'm glad I didn't jump in the bet, because I'd say the same thing.
Those symtoms sounds just like

Well, It isn't. I've tried a WallStreet, iBook, Duo and my backup
2400 power adaptor.
So ... what do I win? :-)

I've had two great experience with DT&T...don't know exactly what they do,
but they do it right and very fast turnaround.
