there is surely no need for us to have to put up with this sort of stuff.

just received a virus here
from [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Norton grabbed it.. interestingly when I tried to
alert the operator the mail came back "unknown user"
happy new year all.
Scanned by Norton Antivirus 2003.
I have arrived home from OC160 some 3 hours ago.
Unfortunately I was unable to operate radio for the last few days as my
trusty FT990 had a malfunction . damn switch mode PS is bugged. I
can't complain, it has made in excess of 100k qsos from places like
Mellish, Willis, Christmas and Cocos
This is the latest direct from ZL1AMOs' daughter.
Needless to say this is sure a little sign of good things to come.

I just finished having a chat with Franck.
He has some 2500 qsos in the log to date.
He commented that propagation hasn't been the best.
He will be qrv up till late Monday. He has to catch the plane at 6am
local Tuesday morning.
After I receive some photos etc the qsl cards will be printed.
All
Franck, FK8HC will be qrv within a few hours according to an email I
have just received.
Qsl will be via VK4FW..
The callsign will be released when he starts.

As of this day there is no such callsign licensed as VK9W. Further all
VK9 callsigns have 2 letters after the 9. ie VK9WM etc.
Sorry but this appears to be a pirate. BTW the only web site that we
have is www.odxg.org
Further we are not sponsoring any VK9 ops at this time. I have no knowledge
I have received many emails enquiring about my activities or lack there
of in the last iota contest... yes I was stuck at home... no
activity.. still recovering from my heart attack some weeks back and
the Dr said NO to going anywhere.
So for now thats it.

Please be advised that Bill Horner had a mild heart attack yeasterday.
Doctors tell us that an infected lung triggered it.
Bill is expected to take a while to fully recover.
Please be patient if you are waiting for qsl cards or other dx related
things.
Thank you

What an experience this turned out to be. The dangers of Old Woman
Island reminded me of a video I seen on Soth Sandwich/ Peter 1.
I was able to finally get ashore after half a dozen attempts.
Unfortunately by the time I got enough gear ashore to operate much time
had been lost. I manage to log

I plan to operate with my FT990 and resurected rebuilt R5 running just

Does anyone have an actual total of how many individual callsigns logged
against actual qso total???
The operation seemed to be done very professionally and I congratulate

I have just finished sifting thru the multitude of emails relating to
P5.
To say the least I must say some of the comments amazed me and then some
shocked me.
To start making a multitude of comments here like may others would
obviously be a waste of time. Surely the ARRL is the place to be seen
just completed some 3k of qsl backlog. They all went into the mail this
morning
I am still not up to date and am still trying to find the various boxes
with some logs and cards in... terrible to shift from a big place to a
small townhouse . boxes stacked 10 high every where.
Pse be patient
To all please be reminded that my old po box 929 address will totally
cease operation as of April 2002.
Currently I have a forwarding service on it up till then.
The new po address is
P.O. Box 1343,
Maroochydore, 4558
Australia
It takes approx 4 weeks for mail to be forwarded from the old
correct... always use via Japan.. it has never failed me.
I have JT1CO qsl for 3 contacts as well as others .

hams have been trying to change peoples ideas and stamp out the callsign on envelope
routine and now you make this statement.
