I have heard from several that everything is working fine, and then
others that it is behaving as mide is. Not changing the mode. Wait and
see I guess.

I have the FTDX 101D. I use DX4WIN (and have for over 20 years). NOTHING is
broke in mine, and I of course updated the day the firmware became
available. Actually, they've had TWO firmware updates within two days of
each other. There was some kind of issue with the first one (V01-19) for
the Main
I read in microham reflector this
"It appears that Yaesu have broken the CAT firmware in their
most recent firmware update to the FTdx101. The "get mode"
command (MD#;) now returns an error response.
This "bug" (or undocumented change) breaks compatibility with
all microHAM "keyer" interfaces a
John -- If your DX4WIN correctly sets the mode for other radios but not the
FTDX101, I suspect the rig file you have is the problem. There are no menu
settings in the FTDX101 that would cause this symptom.
Replace your rig file in the RADIOS folder with the Yaesu FTdx101 file from
the AD1C site -

RDA Award is becoming quite popular here in EU , there is a very well done web
site that has a powerfull database to check RDAs : cfmrda.ru .
It would be really a great addition if it would be possible to have the
possibility to cross-check this database with DX4WIN to follow this award.
