Hi Val
The spot does not show because you have worked that ST0R station before.
Let's imagine there is another operation using ST0S. Such a spot would
show up in red letters.
A station worked on same band and mode will not show up again... UNLESS
you put that call in your alert window. In such a

Hello all
I would like to try and add South Sudan, but cannot find where to put in
the ADIF country code within the process.
How can one do that please ?

Hi all
A friend of mine is using another logging program. He sent me his adif
exporyt file, which I imported into a DX4Win logfile.
Very strange happening is every single call that has a zero in it gives
an import error message, and even if I over-copy the callsign, the
change is not accepted.

He devotes about 25 hours a day to DX4Win...

Hello all
I fully support this idea.
The other day, same spot came in on 2 different colors, one was saying
RTTY in the comment field, the other one was not.
Sub-bands should be CW, digimodes and phone. Few spotters indicate mode
in the comment field, so such a sub-band plan would help.

Hello all
CE9/VE3LYC was recently active from SA097, but the island name (Diego
Ramirez) is not listed in the island names drop box that appears next to
the IOTA reference box.
Is there a way to edit that list and easily add this island name ?

Hi George
You have to close your log, go to Files/Database/QSL managers.
There you delete your wrong entry.
Save changes, open your log again, select the QSO and now you can enter
the right manager.
The manager database will be updated properly.

Hi all
I do not see the point in NOT uploading all your QSO.
YOU may not "need" them, but maybe others need ythe contact with you.
And it is easier too ! and does not cost more ( 0 + 0 = 0 )

Hi
When foreign operators operate in China, they have to give their
callsign first, followed by the callsign of the club station they use.
So it is indeed China, and yes, you may just change the country to BY in
the prefix box.
This is sort of an exception to the general rule that says that the
Neither do they replace, nor are they ignored...
The new uploads come in addition to the previous ones, so it should be
no problem, they will match the PJ's if and when both sides will have
their correct adif codes.

Hello all
Before I try this, I would like to know if anyone else has done it
successfully.
I need to invalidate various QSO in DX4Win (version 8.03) and have read
that putting a "!" before the callsign in the callsign box will work.
Like !XZ5A for example.
Anyone has tried ?

Hi all !
This message is really for the DX4Win _and_ Clublog users.
Within DX4Win, I have marked (this is ONE example, there are other calls
in the same situation)
XZ5A (QSO on 15 June 1981) as Invalid in the column DXCC for all mixed,
band and mode.
When I upload the adif file created, I do g

Hello all
After installing the latest version of the country file, and merging
with my old one, I find that for example a QSO with PJ2MI in 1992 is
still counted for the "new" entity of Curacao, and a QSO with PJ0J in
1987 is still counted for the "new" entity of St Maarten.

Hello
DX4Win will do all the statistics very easily.
You just need to tell the program to only consider the LoTW confirmed
contacts in the report generator / award flags.
The procedure to upload the new QSOs to LoTW, and import the new
confirmations is not automatic, but still very simple. I do
Hi again
The vast majority of the DX community ASSUMES there will be changes;

There are still many questions to answer by the DXAC ( I am not
surprised they have not said anything yet). But keep in mind there are

Hi
You may have to deleted them, or at least make them show as deleted
entities.
It could be minus 2 plus 4, or just plus 2.
At this stage, DXAC/DXCC have not yet decided, or at least have not yet
made their view public.
Best thing to do is : it is urgent to wait !

Hi
I have downloaded the program, extracted it.
Using DX4Win v.8.03 and Windows 7.
Cannot get the program to start. Let me be more precise. Looks like the
program starts running, but within a half second, the screen disappears...
Any hint pse ? TNX

Hello Jim
Maybe a suggestion, if it is easily feasable.
Instead of normal and bold letters, it wouold look better if worked were
in red, and confirmed in green.
How about the possibility to have a larger map, for example yto cover
all of Europe ?
