Folks, there are many places to discuss Fascism...One of them
is *NOT* the e-gold list!! The topics here are mainly money (with
a minor dose of computer-security stuff) but if we start discussing
politics, we're going to lose members I wish to retain but attract
members I'd prefer not to see. Pleas
(Not to pick on you, Michael, but) if we can keep the posts about
the various exchanges to a minimum, I'm pretty sure the list's
members will appreciate it. Many of them are aware of the various
fine services provided, and wish to discuss other stuff. Also, while
there are many subscribers, I fear
Folks, can we _PLEASE_ keep the discussion to money? There

all manner of ways about guns, politics, abortion, what invisible

Folks, I know the emotions are high these days, but if we could

Folks, let's try to keep the conversations focused on
money & resist the urge to discuss (politics, history,
personalities...). You're not only off-topic, you're
highly UNlikely to convince eachother (or anyone else)
in a limited forum like this, and a multitude of other

I gather from the message posting a rant about FDR
from Francis E Dec that anyone with a view that FDR's
behavior was bad, WRT gold or anything else, is a
kook. Perhaps Mr. Ben Legume () should c
Not picking on anyone in particular now, but let's try to keep any discussions
to gold and electronic money issues, please. I would DEEPLY enjoy seeing
this discussion (instead of what's usually seen) at the old Free-Market.net*
board, for example. http://www.free-market.net/forums/e-gold0009/ FD

Must I moderate EVERYONE? Look people, cypherpunks is a better list
for a lot of this, and if you must discuss the tragedy try to keep it to using
what we have to help the victims. If you wish to discuss the politics of
this event or have flamewars, find another list. It's healthy to be on more

Folks, it's time to stop the political messages, please. I may personally
disagree or agree with what you say, but this isn't the forum to say it.
If you want a forum where you can say anything, look around for how to
sign up for the full, unfiltered cypherpunks list, and go do it. Have fun!

Folks, I can fully appreciate the strong emotions this attack has
brought, but I must join Jay in asking that you concentrate your
efforts on things that might help the victims. I know the e-gold

I will re-set the Lyris quote feature to 15 lines, since it's leading to
increased-rudeness to those on the digest version of the list, rather
than what I'd hoped-for -- better, more-focused responses where
folks take the time to excise irrelevant quoted stuff.
