Hi Robert,
I'd like to test this! In fact a while ago I was wondering whether it
would be difficult to include this into efw on my own, but I was missing
some time to do this. Great news, you did it!

I'm just finishing up changes to the VPN support in EFW
on efw 2.2 sucessfully to monitor some
EFWs using Nagios. (You haven't told use, which version of efw you are
using...)
Maybe you could use some EL4-rpms for munin-node?
(Obviously you should try this first on a non-productive testsystem)

Fortunately, the endian boxes do not need to reboot many times, so it is not
that hard to restart nrpe manually :-)

Hi Gabriel,
I successfully installed these rpms (found at rpm.pbone.net) on some EFW
(2.2rcX and final):
nagios-nrpe-2.5.2-1.el4.rf.i386.rpm
nagios-plugins-1.4.12-1.el4.rf.i386.rpm
tcp_wrappers-7.6-39.i386.rpm
(I remember using --no-deps and/or --force to install)
Only problem: nrpe does not s
I've seen something similar on another firewall/security gateway than endian
using a transparent http proxy:
Some clients were asking for software updates (it was adobe reader, when I
remember right), on the proxy the update was scanned by havp/clamav for quite
a while and so the updater on the

Hi,

still back in rc3 I found a small bug with QoS, which seems to exist in 2.2
final:
In /usr/local/bin/restartqos.py a file /etc/product is tested for existence and
if it does not exist a testconfig will be used.
Obviously the file does

Hi Steve,
> What versions can be upgraded to 2.2?
upgraded community versions 2.2rc3 (37 packages) and 2.1.1 (137 packages)
successfully today. (Though 2.1.1 was a fresh installation on a vmware I did
some time ago but never used).

I did not loose any setting
Hi all,
I just upgraded successfully a virtual Community EFW to 2.2 final (37 packages
since 2.2rc3). Thanks for this great feature of efw-upgrade!
Does someone know if there is a changelog somewhere?
I tried http://bugs.endian.it/changelog_page.php but I believe this is not
complete for 2.2 f
