Hi all!
A couple of weeks ago I had a major issue on all Endian boxes as the
ClamAV database was corrupted and had to manually be reseted.
It was reported here by some users along with a fix.
Did you all experience the same problem again yesterday?
If you are wondering why you arent getting any
ults.
Is there any place in Endian where "NAT information" is stored
temporary? I apologize for the lack of a better description :-)

I saw that 2.4.1 no longer has the SIP proxy, I hope that Christian
Graffer can give me some more information about that. The same problem
seems to be also when I connect my Siemens VoIP phone directly to the
providers. The registration is successful but after a reconnect, its lost.

Hello all!
I am trying the past day to figure out a strange problem with my Endian
(2.4) and my new Asterisk box. The Asterisk used is a PBX-in-a-flash
using the FreePBX Web Interface.
I have configured all SIP trunks (4 in total) and the extensions,
outbound rules and inbound rules. Everything
Thank you for keeping us informed Christian!
Is there any way to get some information to why the SIP Proxy was removed?

2.4 was released due to some bugs that were found and fixed.

Hi Jonas,
First of all, I have no idea how to help you in your question about
PCMCIA/PC support. There was a similar problem with the USB support
where people were asking if it was removed and why on 2.2 and 2.3 (
check: [Efw-user] USB HID drivers on Endiian 2.2rc3)
The result of the USB discus

I just did some more testing and I can confirm it works also for 2.4
As Derek mentioned, some minor changes need to be made to the jail.conf
to get the notifications going.
Since I was interested to extend the feature to also ban openvpn
connection tries, I think I managed to get it done.

Hello Jaroslaw,
this is an awesome feature, thank you very much!
Do you think it would work on 2.4 aswell?

Hello all!
I have a green network behind an endian 2.2 with the IP range
192.168.0.0/24 and OpenVPN server running. Everything is working as it
should but I have problems when a roadwarrior connects that is behind
the same IP range. The simplest solution is to change the IP range to a

If you want to start with the simplest thing, then:
"Have you tried turning it off and on again?" :-)
Try first and see if you get any internet when connecting a PC directly
to the Fritz Box. At least if all are working until there, you can rule
out being a problem of the fritz and/or its cable
I finally found the solution. Apparently in 2.3 the raid support for
this card is not enabled!

This is how I fixed it. I did ran the installer again and when the setup

Any other idea?

Hello all!
I am having problems starting Endian 2.3 Community Edition on a 3ware

Hello Volker
Try under System-> Network Configuration. Its the same process you did
when you first configured the firewall, there you will have the option
to assign the NIC to the Zone you want. The Network->Interfaces menu is
only to add a new red zone if I remember correctly.

Hello all!
I have the following setup: Two Endian firewalls are connected through

additional roadwarriors to the Endian1 and there is also everything
good. As soon as I try though to connect a roadwarrior to Endian2, the

Hello all!
I setup the OpenVPN server on Endian and it works great.
What I want to change now, is that I always need to input my
username/password on connecting to the VPN. I would prefer to have it
always automaticly connecting on boot. Would someone be so kind and give
me some tips on how to
