No TCX0-3 fitted. Serial number is 307.

I'm sorry but I have my S/N at the moment, but it's 6XXX series. One of

I miss just SSB (missing parts coming), but I have KAF2, NB, 160mt, and

My K2's phone jack has failed for the third time. I've ordered two new
jacks, but I am thinking about wiring the internal speaker always on and
muting it at the external speaker jack. I'm a little concerned about just
opening the internal speaker line without a load for the audio amp. I could

I had the same problem with my K1 (same part nr). I
just wired the speaker and in parallel with the phone
jack. Speaker is on all the time, When headphones are
in use the volume control gets turned down. This has
worked well for me. I did this about 2 years ago.

I have finished my K2. And I'm very pleased with it. Very nice CW rig. Its
got all those features that I didn't know I couldn't do without :o)
But there is one issue
When I was tuning the crystal filter at L34, the manual said that it would
most likely peak at 1 to 1 and 1/2

I am thinking about adding the last option to my K2, the DSP. Currently I am
a SSB guy. Using also Digital modes there.
I know the DSP do great stuff on CW, but what about SSB. Do any of you have

While waiting for replacement boards, I started looking again. The
problem was not on the mixer board as suspected, it was found on the

feedline is about 200 ft long. It terminates in the Elecraft BL2 balun
set for 4:1 and it tunes all bands 160-6M on the K3.
