Has anyone developed a stand alone Panadaptor without the need for a
computer? Is Elecraft considering this? The
stand alone unit would be something like Yaesu's DMU unit.

Moe from Moetronix has been hard at work in evolving the next version of
SpectraVue (Ver 3) which supports the RFspace SDRs. In version 3, SpectraVue
will support many Transceivers such as the K3. I am very pleased with my
RFspace SDR-IQ and now I can seemslessly interface it with the K3 and it

In DM780, under Options -> PTT, which option is selected? You probably
want "via Ham Radio Deluxe".

Yup. :-) Time to end this thread.
In general, once an OT thread has generated over 10-15 messages, I'd
like to ask that people self moderate. We really need to limit volume to
avoid email list overload.

Hi Larry,
At present the only way to do this easily would be to use ANT1 at one
location, and ANT2 at the other location. The ATU will then keep track
of things for you. You just need to switch antennas when you move the
rig.
It would be possible for K3 Utility to store/retrieve ATU settings f
I finally found my first fast moving birdie at 21272 and had a chance to see
what the tool does. It took 3-4 segments to wipe it out, but it completely
went away. Very nice!!

Hello All -
I use my K3 in two locations with two different antennas. I have installed
firmware v 3.03. Is it possible to save and retrieve antenna settings for more
than one antenna? If so, how?

There is no reason to have both the 2700 and 2800 Hz filters.
You will not be able to detect any difference between the two.

Hello friends:
I know that this question has been done, but i have to ask to be sure of
to buy the correct.
I own a k3/100 with ATU and Receiver antenna input.
It has original 2700 - 5 pole filter.
I use my k3 for ssb and rtty contest and some dx in the same modes.
Some questions:
If i buy 2800
Fred,
What Operating System are you using? Does it work properly with the K3?
If it's a Windows OS. You can change the baud rate by going into
Start>Settings>Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager>Ports and find
the one labeled USB (most likely name) with COM5 after it. The default baud
