Dick, I just ran the install on my Win7 Home Premium box with no problems, and I did not have to run as admin. There is a permission problem. Try going to "C:\Users\Dick\AppData\Local\Temp\" and see if it's marked "read only" or if Win7 prohibits you access. Try to copy something there. T

Only the K3 setup program (the installer) needs to be run as an administrator. Like many installation programs, the program files are installed in the Program Files folder, which is shared across all users. Once the K3 Utility is installed, administrative privileges are NOT required to use the K3
