Hello OM’s Recently after WFF activation, around 600 QSO’s with K2 I realized that when I connect the headphones, speaker is not disconnected anymore, and I suspect the headphone plug. I try to find such a jack but I didn’t find one with the back switch for the speaker. Right now I use a simple

Gosh, it would seem that simple overtone xtal oscillator in a very straightforward MOPA arrangement would yield a clean signal with plenty of power a lot more easily than trying to clean up and amplify the XG3. Yes, you'd still need a keying system, but a simple PIC would handle that. Great scr

The ATU requires you to tell it to tune by tapping the ATU TUNE switch. Keep in mind that a 1:1 SWR is pretty meaningless. You won't see any degradation in your signal if your SWR is 1.5:1 or even 2:1. How far you can QSY before the SWR is an issue depends entirely on your antenna system. The K

Using beta 1.08 I'm seeing my CW signal on the P3 as I'm transmitting with my K3. With a pitch of 350 Hz I'm seeing it down 700 Hz from the center frequency using a span of 2 kHz. When I switch to CW-R the signal appears to be up 700 Hz. I changed the pitch to 500 Hz, and the signal now is up 50
