The KAT3 tuner has one of the widest matching ranges I have ever seen from
an autotuner. Only maybe twice has it not matched what I have connected to
it.
I suppose I want to know if the KAT500 is a "beefed up" version of the KAT3,
using the same value components and firmware algorithms.

Yes,it has digital and analogue inputs. I have tried the auto adjust,
adjusting the width, the clock and the phase. The clock will narrow it a
bit,about an inch but that's it. The auto adjust, factory reset etc makes
it too wide. There is a message on the display that it is not the optimal

The other resolutions work fine. The display is much too wide with the
center located to the right by about 2 1/2" and the right of course cut off.
The display also reports 1920x1080 x58 Hz. A standard VGA signal should b
K1 kit and K2 internal tuner kit have been spoken for, thanks.

I should like to support that. It seems to me that a significant part of
the shipping weight is the manual - depending upon what is being ordered of
course. That can make a big differences to those of us overseas. I would
like the option to decline a printed manual for the larger items and enjoy

use it as an additional screen so no duplication was required and both
