After loading v.2.10 the LEDs seem to show the correct power level at or near
the 1500 watt level. At reduced power levels the LEDs stream faster but seem
to also show the correct power level. The blue display window does not show the
correct power level. It consistently shows a very low power
Good Evening,
It was nice to have a day of sun. The forest floor is just starting
to green up. The early plants need to get as much light as they can
before the alder leaf out. The spiders were making their presence
felt. Very few bugs out but they know better than I do about hunting

In addition to Elecraft's Mac software, I have expensive apps that will
not work under the next Mac OS. They work for me fine now and I don't
want to spend thousands of dollars to upgrade to new versions of those
apps just so they will work under the next Mac OS.
I don't need no stinkin' new v
Unless you are a developer, weeks is measured in double digits. The new version
of macOS will presumably be announced at Apple’s WWDC in San Jose the first
week of June. It will not be out as a full release until September or October
which is the real time frame of concern. Unless you value your
Here is something I experienced with my new (used) KXPA100 which might help
someone in the future.
On initial setup everything was fine. Later on... when turning on the KX3 I was
getting a SYS fault light on the KXPA100 LED array. No band noise or signals in
the KX3. Uh - oh.
Long story short,
No, I just “hoped”.
In general, one can wait updating an operating system until his/her essential
softwares become compatible to the new version of operating system.

With a single receiver K3S as I have, I use a pair of powered computer
type speakers. I can adjust the volume of each individual speaker and
thus the AF Gain control on the radio works just great as it changes the
signal to both. And the AFX function works equally as well. This sure

But the BALANCE control only works with subreceiver audio, either in
diversity or normal mode. It does NOT work when the subreceiver is off
or not installed. This would be a desirable feature for folks with
better hearing in one ear than the other.

That is already available in the K3/K3S.
If the subRX is installed, there is an audio pot for both (the
concentric knobs).
You can also set the inner knob as a BALANCE control. See CONFIG:SUB AF.

How about independent volume for left and right speaker. At my age, I hear
better on one ear. I’d like to increase the volume on the other channel. WP4CW
