And yet I find it a valuable feature on my other radios. It takes some serious intent to get the tuning rate to shift. Sensitivity can be adjustable and the increment value as well. I personally find it annoying to have to keep hitting a button to change the tuning rate. It would be quite easy

I agree with Don. The K3/K3S already supports three tuning rates depending on the operation of the Fine/Coarse control (HOLD/Coarse = 100 Hz/step, Fine = 10 Hz/step, Double tap Fine = 1 Hz/step). In addition, MENU:VFO CRS will select 1 KHz or 10 Hz/step and MENU:VFO CTS will select 100/200/400
