I wrote previously: "I've done what you're talking about with CT but not N1MM." I haven't used CT with serial port keying for 6 years so the memory is a little hazy. Turns out you can't have the rig control and keying on the same serial port with CT. You can run them on separate serial ports,

Jim, Read the following document, which might help. There is a spur generated on 80 meters in some KPA100's caused by a resonance in the TR switch components. Easily fixed with a 1K resistor soldered across one of the inductors. Won't help 40 meters though. http://www.elecraft.com/manual/E7400

Thanks Ed for pointing out the ambiguity: I meant the K2 mic connectors. The TTDXD interface connectors also carry headphone audio and keying signals to the tranceivers. 73 Gary, N7IR At 04:26 PM 2/2/05 -0500, you wrote: > > >gary: >Unplug which mike connectors - in K2 or ten ten dx doubler >Ed,

My solution for the K2 PTT problem in CW with CT and the Top Ten DX Doubler: unplug the mic connectors! It's worked fine for 4 years so far. On the other hand I have only operated SO2R in CW contests at QRP and 100 watt levels so far (no external amps). IARU and other mixed-mode contests would re
