My K3 exhibits the same problem on 20M. I have to reduce power down to 90W to
run without the Hi Current warning with an antenna match of 1.1:1. All other
bands, no problem. I upgraded from a 30A switcher to a 35A linear supply to see
if that helped and there was no appreciable difference. I d

If you got six years out of a lead acid battery, you are doing good. Batteries
Plus has a replacement with slightly less capacity for just over $19. It is
2.2AH rather than 2.9AH.

The Elecraft antenna tuners do a really fine job for stealth
antennas. I live in a garden home and have an antenna farm that is
completely in my attic. I use a simple long wire on 80/40 that works
well. It is 54' in total length, the ends are bent down 11' to the
attic floor

You have to double click on a HRD DX cluster spot that will change
the band to see it. That is the only way I can reproduce it here. It
will change the band and display the new frequency, then return to the
old band/frequency. I am running the latest firmware in the P3 and K3
I first tested the CAT command "FAxxx;" (xs being the
frequency to QSY to) using the K3 Utility and it worked like a champ,
no problems. I then went to HRD's command tester and was able to send
the same commands successfully, but HRD reported a ERROR in the
response back from the K3

Look at your K3 manual page 53. and note the menu item AF LIM. After
seeing the posts on the amp failure, I immediate set this to limit the
AF output to safe levels as I frequently operate without the AGC being
ON (digital modes). I have mine set to 20, just arbitrary, half way

This morning I noticed a clicking sound coming from the P3. The
display would "jump" and a solid line would appear across the
waterfall. This happened frequently, but at various intervals. I think
