I would check all componets in the area of U3 backward to U6B. Make sure
everything is in the proper place and that they are all soldered. Sorry, it

I think the RF pot has a weak spot near the CW end. I don't know how it's made,
but if the resistance is decreasing as it goes toward CW then it is minimum at
three o'clock and increases slightly to full CW. Just my 2 cents.

My wife's Honda Element doesn't have the roof rack. However there are
small panels, just a couple inches on a side, in the roof area, that
cover the places where the rack would attach. When you remove these
covers you will find captive nuts (8 mm ?) that are to be used to hold
the roof rack. :-) I
That would be GREAT if it would handle 125 watts.

For the two of us on this list that operate SSB most of the time SLOW
AGC is the way to go for relaxed SSB rag chewing. If you're chasing that
rare DX with the cans on and the sweat running in your eyes that's
another story.

The Arizoma Traffic Net on 3992 has tried working through the
interference! It was terrible a couple of weeks back when the
geomagnetic storms were going on. S9+20 It's a constant noise, unlike
AM. The carrier on 3995 is always heard in the west at night, but the AM
lower sideband didn't bother muc

I have seen the problem, but only after a high SWR tune. I have a K2/100
and an MFJ-986 tuner. RF grounds are non-existing in this shack.

This sounds like an image. The IF is 4.915 MHz and I think the VCO will
be 1.9 above the IF, or 6.815 MHz to receive 1.9. The image would be
