jack unless a resistor is added in parallel. The front phones jack depends on

Thanks for that report Roy. Notice the same defect here in the digital
display. I have only worked CW mode so far, and the power reading is erratic
and varies with 'duty cycle' -- a string of dots causes a very low reading,
while a string of dashes is more accurate and less erratic. Do hope

Yes it does, normally air flow is from rear to top. The fans placed over the
exhaust vent on top create a partial vacuum, drawing in air through the idle
(or running) fans on the rear apron and out the top just like when the
regular fans are doing that job.

Bill, default setting is fan "0" -- then they remain off until needed as amp
heats up with use. All automatically. So you hear no noise while you're just
listening to receiver, etc.

Re all the fans postings, it appears my K3s uses convection cooling during
light usage periods, drawing air in at the rear, backwards thru the idle
fans, and out the top. When fans engage, air flow is reversed...drawn in
