I agree that Tom Hammond N0SS (SK) created a valuable website with a lot of information related to Elecraft products (particularly the K1 and K2) and ham radio in general. I am thankful that the Mid-Misouri Amateur Radio Club chose to preserve the contents of his website within their website

Seems to me the word Elmer is a stateside only thing, we never used it in the UK or here in Australia. To me it conjures up images of Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd ! I prefer to tell folks I'm a radio hobbyist, experimenting in technology and communications. That usually leaves then gobsmacked !
