SignaLink is mono, I believe. LP-PAN requires stereo.

That all depends on whether you feed the SL USB through your mixer or go
with the front panel mic.
Through the front panel, set the mic select to the front mic and bias
off. Use VOX and do not connect PTT from the SL USB and you will not
have any PTT 'mistakes'.

Don, will this setup liven up the mic? Or is there a way to just switch to
front panel mic input only when using SL USB? I mean I know I can set the menu
option to fp mic. But if I didn't and SL USB keyed up the rig - my actual mic
would be live, right?

Slava,
Yes, you should be able to use the front mic jack. Set the SignaLink
for mic level output rather than line level (see the SignaLink
documentation). Turn bias off for the front mic.
It is feasible that you could feed the SignaLink into your audio rack,
but it should not run through a
