Art,
The Y-BOX (v2.1 and later) converts any standard (economical) 15-pin M/F
DE-15 cable into the equivalent of a KPAK3AUX cable, plus it supports other
features not supported by the stock Elecraft cable, such as KPA500 /
KPA1500 remote power on/off via a K3 macro (DIGOUT1 to pin 8), and easy

Hi all,
Does Elecraft sell a longer version of the standard cable? I need about 3 more
feet. As an alternative, can 2 of these cables be used in series to provide the
extra length without creating any timing issues for the KPA1500?
Thanks

Fred Cady’s book on the KPA500/KAT500 combination mentions that if you’re using
two cables to connect the AUXBUS signals between a KPA500, KAT500 and K3, it’s
possible to use a DE15HD cable as long as the other cable is a KPAK3AUX cable
wired as per the diagram. In the UK DE15HD is a bit of an

How long is the KPAK3AUX cable? Trying to determine if it's long enough
to reach for my desk configuration.
Can two cables be plugged together to make it longer to accommodate my
setup.
Thanks

Hello,
I am planning to use a KPA500 together with the K3. I found some
descriptions to connect both units togetehr with the KPAK3AUX-cable
provided by elecraft.
With the key line interrupter I am able to handle as well the SteppIR
antenna.
But now I recognized another problem.
Karl-Heinz,
You can still use the AUX connector to handle FSK-IN, Elecraft provides a Y
adapter
so you can connect both.
A happy user of the KPA500 and K3 using FSK

I'm having an issue with my RX antenna when using the Y-Cable that comes with
the KPAK3AUX cable kit. I have the K3 with sub receiver, KAT3 and a PR6 preamp.
I initially hooked up the Y-Cable on the back of the K3. One pigtail going to
