Kenwood, while offering a lot of polish, is lacking in what I'd call
essential performance. At the core, it's receiver does not do as well
as the K2 (or K3 presumably) at handling the dynamics of the current HF
bands and doesn't do
So basically you have a slick case along with a number of knobs and features to
manipulate fascets of an inferior receiver? I guess this is how you sell an
appliance that is inferior in performance.

Tokyo Hy-Power HT-200 QRP. 10 w hf 20 w on 6 meters.. SSB CW AM FM only
already made i think...
