I am entertaining the idea of bringing in someone to work with us on
these Directives on a short-term consulting basis. If any of you know
someone who fits the bill, or is that person, please contact me.

Of course you CAN, but whether it's a waste of time or not is another
matter. It isn't strictly correct to say
Bob,
You can test any product to any standard. The next question is what
do you want to do with the data? Why would you choose that particular

product meeting the requirements of the Directive?

Scroll down to Form 740. It does not appear to be a fillable form,
so you will have to print it out and fill it in.

Hi Kim.
This form always comes to us via Fax from the importing agent or Shipping
Company, and I always fill in the form manually and return it by Fax. This
always works, and seems to suit the Customs Officer raising the question in
the first place, i.e. it gives him something to put in the file,

As fare as I can see, the U.S. Customs Service should have this possibility
but I can't find it.

Hi all
I'm a little confused about some information I have got on 3. hand.
Officially I can see that the directive is active as pr. 1/1 2006 but now
some one told me that it can be used from 19/10 2005.
What is the official status and is it country dependant ?
Best regards,
