Hello everyone, Following these instructions http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?Build_A_Simulator_Manually worked for my last setup with Ubuntu 12.4 (32Bit) quite well. Now I have a fresh install of Ubuntu 14.4 (64Bit) running and have trouble with the dependency libgnomeprintui2.2-dev.

not sure about -- yes i did assemble system on emc2 2008. yes it working system. i am not software engineer. i do not know how to configure software. i do not know C or C++ . to build emc2 working 3 axis system one does not need any software ---configureknowledge-experience. is there manual

You must look at the integrators manual and look at the HAL components that are available. You dont have to know C just how to read. You will find all you need in the manuals. Find the encoder component not the hostmot stuff. Use man encoder. You will need some electronics that turn your 5v
