My lathe has been running on an old Xeon (Coppermine) 1U server for the last few years, I word fine, currently on Ubuntu 8,04 and a recent build of LinuxCNC. Looking on Wikipedia it seems that the computer is likely to be 10+ years old. Having said that, Atom motherboards are not exactly expensive. -- atp If you can't fix it, you don't own it. http://www.ifixit.com/Manifesto ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Accelerate Dev Cycles with Automated Cross-Browser Testing - For FREE Instantly run your Selenium tests across 300+ browser/OS combos.
