Hello Eric
For some reason I did not have my GPIO I/O pins set correctly in my HAL file,
when I corrected that problem the "net
motion.spindle-forward=>hm2-5i23.o.gpio.042.out" worked just fine.
When you use Motion for spindle control the GUI automatically appears in AXIS.
Cool!
Thank you fo
Hello Eric
I have two more questions
Do have any idea which soft pin link to M3 and M4 for spindle rotation. I
currently have aVFD set up to recive inputs for cw and ccw rotation. I see
there are two types of soft pins (Halui and Motion) and I tried both with no
success.These are the signals
Hello Eric
I am sorry for the confusion but I am using pin 37 or gpio42. Being new to
emc2, I didn't realize what the GPIO 42 parameter would do. With your direction
I read on page 147 of the Integrators Manual I need to set parameter "in-out"
to 1 to make it an output. Then I can force ".out"
Hello everyone
I am having a problem using outputs on my mesa 7i37 I/O card. The card is used
in conjunction with a 5i23 FPGA card. I am using the HOSTMOT2 configuration. I
intend on using the outputs on the 7i37 to turn my VFD on but I am having a
hard time forcing the physical pin to 1 in EMC

Hello
The positive direction on my z axis is opposite from what the controller shows.
I have been told I have two options to get the controller to view the proper
direction. The first is to swap the A and B sig. from the encoder as well as
switch the analog outputs from the 7i33T card to the se
