I haven't heard much about the LinuxCNC fest in Houston planned
for Saturday, October 18 to Saturday, October 24 since the topic was
originally brought up.
I have some frequent flyer miles that need to be burned:-) and wanted to
make sure I don't show up and the sign on the door says "closed."

We are definitely still go for the Fest. Since the last announcement, we've
added a 5x10 plasma table (running the JA3 branch), finished converting our
Chinese 4x8 router to LCNC, made progress on the Burgmaster Powerhawk
retrofit (one axis is moving), acquired an 88 ton 8' CNC press b
I just booked my ticket to the Houston fest. I'll be there saturday
through tuesday (full days, travelling fri/wed). I hope to see some
familiar faces and some new ones!
